Out of the Loop

So...looks like I missed a pretty killer party Saturday PM. Oh well, my weekend was pretty sweet nonetheless. Went down to Mpls. to visit the lady-type. On Saturday we went to the Como Zoo, which was pretty busy. I liked the monkeys, especially the tamarins, why with their beards and all. It's sad though to see all of the big animals looking really depressed, neurotically pacing around their enclosures, treading the same path time and again. Como does a good job with what they have, but sometimes I think huge animals like that shouldn't be in cramped spaces...send them to San Diego or someplace with more room for them to roam.

On Sunday I went to Alison's Concert Choir performance at the St. Paul Cathedral. It was pretty sweet. Getting free food afterwards was also pretty sweet. So yeah, all in all a relaxing weekend.

By the way, you can pick up 89.3 the Current all the way to Eau Claire! I listened in my car all the way back, and it died out right as I passed Culver's/Mega on Clairemont. Sweet action.
