A new look, a new lease on life.
Well, for some reason I decided it was time to update the ol' blog. Things were looking a little bit dusty. I also updated my links - to blogs I actually read and links I actually visit. If for some reason you wish to be added to the list, let me know.
Sometimes there just isn't enough time. Recently I've felt like I could really use time to catch up on school work, spend time with friends, spend time alone, spend time with Alison, spend time with my family, work...there's not enough time to do it all! As a result, I feel like my head is in 18 different places at once, and I fear that some things will get neglected as a result. I've never been the world's most organized person, and even my best efforts couldn't get me out of this time jam.
So there's nothing to do but do the best with the time we have. I've always been pretty good at prioritizing things...and I've come to appreciate the short moments I can spend with people...dinner here, a conversation there, whatever I can get. I find now that most of my encounters with friends are seldom planned, and thusly a welcome surprise.
I can't believe tomorrow is Friday already.

I agree about the pleasant surprises you mentioned - like when I saw you at HFA the other day.
Pretty sure I need to update my blog look now, too. Great - then I have to redo all my links. I suppose I should do that anyway.
And update your links - Yakob has a Blogspot blog now. Woot. Woot. Let's hear it for the bandwagon. Can you believe I've been on here for almost 2 years now? Wow.
