The Day After

Happy Day after X-Mas to you and yours!

This has been a pretty good Christmas. I was able to head up to Cumberland, WI on X-Mas Eve and spend time with Uncle Steve & the crew. Alison tagged along for the first time, and I think she enjoyed the sarcastic craziness that is the Miller side of the family. Yesterday, we went back to Rosemount and spent the day with the Hendersons at Alison's house, which was also enjoyable. I'm not going to list all the sweet stuff I got for Christmas, since I'm sure you don't care. BUT I will say that I will be leaving for Groth music shortly to purchase a new acoustic guitar. I've been playing on a low-end Yamaha guitar I got for my 16th birthday, and it's high time I upgraded. Plus, I'll be using it to teach with at Seton, so I can justify spending my graduation/Christmas money on it. I'm stoked.

This week will be good. On Wednesday we're headed up to Eau Claire so we'll be around for the DeYarmond show on Thursday evening. New Year's this year will be split between a party with Alison's high school friends, and one with Jana and my high school friends. Then it's back to the Eau C for 2 more weeks of student teaching. After that, it's off to the real world! Should be a rush!
