...a couple weeks later

So yeah, it's been awhile. Not too much happening here. It's freaking cold, going to get colder. Parent-teacher conferences are on Saturday (yes, Saturday...we sacrifice a day in the name of 98% attendance rate, and they give us a personal day in return). BUT, I'm going to a sweet show at the Varsity on Saturday night. Haven't been to a real "show" in awhile, so I'm pretty pumped.

I'm also pumped (band teacher nerd stuff) that the principal OK'd $$$ for new music for the spring semester. I got some pretty sweet stuff (including Harry Potter). Also, Groth Music is having a clearance on their cymbals (50% off!), so I'm going to see if I can get some for uber cheap. That, and MMEA state conference is in 2 weeks. I can't wait.
