Toaster'd'd'd
I signed my life away today and bought a 2006 Scion xB, a Shadow Mica colored one (dark grey). First, we went to a Ford dealer in Eden Prairie that had a used toaster for real cheap, and it was cheap because it smelled NASTY, so we left there in a hurry and went to Bloomington. Once there we met a fellow named Grey who just happened to have an xB that the dealer had been renting, had 3000 miles on it, and lots of options. Since it had been titled, it was a couple thousand less than it would have been new, so I bought it. It looks like this:
It has the upgraded Pioneer sound system with iPod input and audio controls on the steering wheel, power everything, a spoiler, some decals on the side, and "sport pedals" (I did not choose these add-ons). Next week I'm getting cruise control put it. It's a sweet car, has tons of room, and gets 30mpg in the city. Can't beat that for the price, no sir.

But does it brown evenly?
I can't wait to point and laugh at you when you tool around town in that box. Hey-o.
yay, a lego car!
Amazing how so many people pick on the xB 'cause it's boxy. They seem to have forgotten how boxy Jeep's entire line has ALWAYS been and still is. How boxy most SUVs are, in spite of rounded corners. How pickup trucks are basically rectangles on wheels. The Trooper, the Tracker, the Grand Cherokee, the Hummer, F-150, the Suburban, etc. Wanna know why they're boxy? 'Cause then you can FIT STUFF IN THEM. You can't stick an air conditioner into a Porsche. You're not supposed to try. They're entirely different kinds of vehicles. And the xB, while not really an SUV, as it's not designed for off-roading, is still a UV. And you can carry large items (such as TVS or wheelchairs) in them and get excellent gas mileage at the same time. They have much more cargo and passenger space inside than you'd think looking at the outside. You can fit more of your friends (comfortably) into one of these boxes than you can in a cute little sports car. Ugh. Why am I defending a car to people who get their ya-yas and boost their own egos by trash-talking other people's stuff?
