Some times I'd like to freeze

Here it is, 8 days away from the wedding. House probably needs cleaning. There's probably some wedding stuff to do. I probably should wonder where all of my money is going.

Probably.

But not tonight. After dinner (which reminds me, I should probably do the dishes), I grabbed a beer, a book, a chair, and an AM radio, parked myself on the front lawn, turned on the Twins game, and proceeded to enjoy a perfect summer evening. One of the perks about the big city so far is the relative absence of bugs. As I listened to the boys of summer, I watched people go by on the sidewalk, and absorbed the world around me.

I am enjoying this part of summer.
