Hope clings like static

OK, so, in the midst of my final week of summer band, and tech week/show week for BATBeast, the following things have happened:

-I had an interview today at the Twin Cities Academy in St. Paul. The school is 3 miles from my new place, and they are looking for someone to stabilize and grow their music program. I would teach a small middle school band, and some music electives in their new high school. Basically, I would be responsible for building a program from almost-scratch. It sounds amazing. Hopefully they will like me and give me the job.

-The Twins just swept the White Sox, moving them into a tie for the Wild Card lead. I love baseball.

I should know if I got the position by the middle of next week. So, once again, the nervous anticipation begins. Maybe the 3rd time's the charm?
