I miss video games

So this morning, Alison and I ventured to Best Buy in search of an external hard drive to feed Alison's growing Star Trek craving. When we got there, there were people walking out the door with brand new Nintendo Wii's. I thought "sweet, maybe I could get one." Ha! Fat chance. So for fun we went around to see where the lines were and to see if we could nab one, but to no avail. When we were at Target, we did notice the extremely low price on Slim-line Playstation 2's ($129), and realized that for the price of the Wii alone, we could get a PS2, Final Fantasy XII, Lego Star Wars II, an extra controller, and a memory card.

Done and done.

Tonight, instead of doing things like lesson planning and writing papers, we played Lego Star Wars together. I've never felt closer to her than I did this evening.
