Post-Concert-Post

I am generally against doing surveys, seeing as they are pretty much a waste of time. But I just got back from my first concert at TCA (went well), and frankly I need to waste some time.

YEAR-END SURVEY

1.) Where did you bring in 2006? In Apple Valley with the High School Crew + Alison

2.) What was your status by Valentine's Day?
my status? Engaged + 3.5 months

3.) Were you in school (anytime this year)?
As a student only for the first 2 weeks, then teaching in Hastings, Eau Claire, and Saint Paul.

4.) How did you earn your keep? Long-Term Sub at Catholic school in Hastings, Summer Band teacher in Eau Claire, Band/Music Teacher at Twin Cities Academy

5.) Did you ever have to go to the hospital?
No.

6.) Have you ever encountered the police? Not this year.

7.) Where did you go on vacation? Washington State with Alison in March (Saw GVS, found out that I didn't really want to move there), Backpacking with Alison up North, New York City with Dad in June.

8.) What did you purchase that was over $500? Rent. That's it.

9.) Did you know anybody who got married? 2006 -- Kristin/Garrison (high school), My cousin.

10.) Did you know anybody who passed away? Kelly Heyer

11.) Have you ran into anybody you graduated high school with? I try to on a somewhat frequent basis, seeing as many of us have wandered back to the Cities.

12.) Did you move anywhere? Rosemount, Back to Eau Claire, and now permanently in Saint Paul.

13.) What sporting events did you go to? Saw the Twins in Milwaukee, and many times at the Dome, some Middle School basketball games and college basketball games.

14.) What concerts did you go to? Less than I should have. Honestly, I'm having trouble remembering them.

15.) Are you registered to vote? Yes

16.) If so, did you do your patriotic duty on Nov. 7? Yes

17.) Where do you live now? Saint Paul

18.) Describe your birthday. My birthdays pretty much since my 14th have been uneventful, and this one was no different. My 23rd was the first day of Summer Band. I was working. I think we went to Dooley's afterward.

19.) What's the one thing you thought you would never do but did in 2006? Land an amazing job, and live with (and immensely enjoy living with) Alison.

20.) What is one thing you regretted this year? I agree with Angie...no regrets.

21.) What's something you learned about yourself? I can be strong and in shape again.

22.) Any new additions to your family? No, but that will soon change if my sister and her husband have any say.

23.) What was your best month? Either June or August. Vacations in one, getting jobs and moving in another...This year had many good months.

24.) What from pop culture will you remember 2006 by? The death of Kirby Puckett

25.) How would you rate this year with a scale from 1 (shitty) to 10 (the shit)? 8 or 9...tough but with good rewards.
