Some Things
1) Looking forward to bringing the band kids to see the UWEC Wind Symphony at EHS tomorrow. I'm hoping that they don't do anything stupid, and that they gain something from the experience. I'm excited to see the group play. It'll be fun being on the other side of a band tour (have fun on the bus to Nebraska...HA!)
2) I leave for Moscow a week from Friday. Not only have I not learned a lick of Russian, or started thinking about what I need, but I have yet to start my sub plans for the week I will be gone. Saturday, Saturday, Saturday.
3) Saw this on Casey's MySpace: Garfield Minus Garfield. Remove Garfield and all associated dialog from the comic and all you have are the depressing ramblings of a lonely schizophrenic named Jon. Pretty hilarious!

your kids were really well behaved, unlike the Eagan kids. Because of the seating, we could see every freaking thing those little bastards were doing.
1. The Conducting Kid. Was conducting along with Dr. Heidel (very badly) the whole time.
2. The Whispering Kid. Every time the trumpets came in he would turn all the way around and whisper stuff to his friends.
3. The Cadenza Talkers. During the horn cadenza in "Zirk" we could hear kids talking to each other in the audience.
4. The Fat Sleeping Girl. Yeah, she fell asleep during the first piece until we started "Turning" with those high trombone glisses. After that part, she somehow fell asleep again.
5. The Kids from Pats School. Little Angels who sat still and appeared interested in our performance. Thank you, Pat's Kids.
that is all. I'm through venting. Have a nice Moscow trip!
