Twins 2005: R.I.P.

Well, everyone else has been saying it, so I might as well jump on the bandwagon. As far as I can tell, the Twins' hopes for a playoff run have officially been dashed. Today they released supposed miracle man Brett Boone, and lost 2-1 to the A's. They've scored only 63 runs since the All Star Break (2nd lowest in the league), and they are continuing to suck a lot. Oh well, I'm going to see them on Sunday...maybe my presence will be the spark they need.

Remember that TV show Growing Pains, and teenage son Mike Sever, played by Kirk Cameron? Well, since the time that show went off the air, Kirk has "found God," been "Saved," or whatever you want to call it, and is now spreading his hip and trendy message all over the internet. It's pretty hilarious.

One more day at Mega this week, then it's a long stretch of time off where I will get my oil changed, head to the Cities, hang with the GF, to to a wedding, and lots of other stuff. Should be freaking sweet.
