Out of office reply
2 of the latest disconnections from Eau Claire:
1) I've been weaning myself off of my UWEC e-mail account. I don't know how long it will last, so I'm trying to get rid of it. It feels weird to log in and not have a dozen e-mails each day.
2) I just finished completing a temporary change of address with the USPS. All my mail is getting forwarded to Rosemount. Odd...
So Dr. Heidel and the college of Ed. owe me $10. I got an e-mail from Dr. H saying that 2 of my student teaching evaluations (necessary to let me graduate) got "lost in the shuffle," so I had to fax them over. All 6 pages of them. Total cost: $10. Not a huge deal, but man I could've gotten some sweet Chipotle with that $10.
I'm pretty stoked about getting ready to move out west. Alison has been sending for and researching tons of information about the Bellingham area. It looks awesome, and seems to have everything I could possibly want: Mountains out your back window, good schools, enough people (but not too many), a University close by (Western Washington), Canada just as close to me (closer, in fact) as Seattle...
...let's just hope I find a job!

First: doesn't the school that you work at have a fax machine?
Second: email will work for up to a year after you are done -- I was still going into mine in December...I think it might be gone now.
bye bye
