'tis been awhile

So yeah, these updates seem to be coming at a pretty sporadic. This weekend was pretty sweet...kudos to the roomies for inventing Old Man Ball. I'm glad I could be of service in resolving their dispute.

It was a pretty typical weekend as far as weekends in Eau Claire go. Not much changes in a month, I guess. It was pretty great to see Maggie + the Heyers, so I definitely picked the right weekend to go.

Back on the homefront, it's only 7 days until my first band concert. Am I nervous? Probably a little bit. I really don't have a great gauge of these kids' abilities, and it still doesn't really feel like my band (I didn't pick the repertoire, didn't establish the guidelines for the group). I don't have a problem with that since I'm a long term sub, but it's kind of odd. It makes me look forward to having my own program that I can do what I please.

Let's hear it for a 4 day weekend! For some reason I have this Friday off in addition to President's day, so I'll probably head up to MMEA to see the UWEC Bone Choir. Woot.
