Wiener kids on parade

So yeah...haven't been very good at updating, sorry. If you really were concerned about my life, I suppose you could give me a call. My phone has been sadly neglected since I left Eau Claire (and it was only normal-type neglected before).

Last night was my first band concert with the SEAS band. It was pretty hilarious. They did really well, but it's funny to watch little kids worry. I think a lot of it was that they had to play after/with the Hastings High School jazz band. They're a fun group even if they're a bit lopsided on instrumentation. It's odd leading a band with no low brass to speak of.

It's crazy to think that I'm actually really doing all of this. I shared the stage last night with a teacher who was on his last semester of teaching, and I am in my first. I hope I can be as composed and knowledgeable as he was, and be that nice of a guy too.
