Spring Breaaaaaak!!!

Wow, what a hellish week. Immediatley after writing my last post this previous Saturday, I came down with a cold that still hasn't left. My snow day was largely spent on the couch, as was the following day when I stayed home sick. I eeked my way through Wednesday on medication and apathy (i.e. showing a video to 1st graders), and suffered my way through Thursday. Today wasn't too bad, but I have this nagging cough that isn't quite gone. All of the pressure made its way down to my shoulders and upper back, and today I had a lot of tension and pain.

But I feel it fading now, as I look towards a great week. On Sunday morning Alison and I are leaving for Seattle, and will be spending 5 days in Washington. I think after this trip the reality of me moving across the country will finally sink in, and I'll start to take things a little more seriously. I don't think I've worried about this whole process enough yet, but I'm sure that's all about to change.
