Domestic Diva

Man, Martha Stewart would be proud...or if not her, then probably my mom. In the last day I have wrapped gifts, cleaned pretty much the entire house, gone grocery shopping, and generally decked the halls so that they are now filled with Christmas cheer. Today brings another round of Christmas, this one with my immediate family. Tomorrow I leave with my folks to go see my aunties in Portage, WI (just across the way from Barbado), where I will spend Xmas eve & day.


Speaking of Christmas music (which I wasn't), I highly encourage anyone who enjoys strange, eclectic, whiny, depressing music (which I guess is really only me), to pick up the Sufjan Stevens presents "Songs for Christmas" EP set. It contains 5 glorious EPs full of traditional and original Christmas music, plus STICKERS, and a booklet with lyrics and chords so you can sing and play along. It has made this season even more brighter than it already is.
