Interruptions and Baseball
A word about teaching in Catholic schools (or at least this one): There are a lot of interruptions during the week that mess with your schedule. Today is the inaugural Religion Bee, where 12 contestants have faced off to test their knowledge of the Bible and the Catholic Faith. Who knew there was a patron saint of sore throats? So much useful information...
I'm grateful for the interruption though, since last night I was out late at a ballgame. I went to the Twins Home Opener, and it was great. Alison and I got there around 4:30 to score sweet seats (or at least as sweet as Gen. Admission will get you). We enjoyed brats and beer, a drunken brawl way up in the nosebleeds, and some good baseball. The Twins managed to win their 2nd game of the season, and Brad Radke made it through the 1st inning without a run scored (but would have 3 against him in the 2nd).
This morning, Alison left for Sawbill until July, which means I'm alone with her family until my stint at SEAS ends in May (eep!). I will now suddenly have more time on my hands (weekends especially), so give me a ring.
Welp, back to work!
