Summer List
Since I haven't posted since my birthday, I thought I should throw something out there, however trivial. After a week at my folks's working on their garage, and 4 days at the Wind Band Institute in Moorhead, I'm finally home and doing summer right. Here's a compelling list of summer things:
- t-ball starz softball (0-3, but not for lack of heart)
-Burning down the kitchen
-Catching up on some Wii (currently playing Super Mario Galaxy)
-Figuring out how not to suck at teaching next year
-Justifying my gym membership
-Learning how to go about buying a house
-Cleaning the place I live
-Going to the cabin
Notice there is plenty of room for other activities, should they come about. Aside from the next two weekends, my summer is literally wide open until August 18th.

If you don't already have something lined up, check community colleges or Parks & Rec for home buying classes.
If I'm in your area Mid-July, I'll ring.
Hey Pat, Thanks for the encouragement on the job hunt. I have my first interview for a .6 Middle School General Music position in Inver Grove Heights on wed. this coming week. I'm nervous because they said the position might also teach 7th grade choir and I have to bring in a piece i would use and explain how and why. Ugh. Anyways, thanks again. I saw your post on Josh's site and have been visiting all the websites like crazy. I knew them all except the charter school one.
Thanks,
Liz
