Worst. Timing. Ever.

So as I was driving home from my orientation at MegaFoods, my phone rings. Pick up the phone and I hear "Hi, this is Scott from Menard's."

...

As I'm sitting contemplating the worst timing ever, I had to tell him that I was en route from my new job training, and would have to decline the invitation to return. I know it sounds stupid turning down the better paying job, but look at it this way. Menard's treats their employees like crap, the warehouse is hotter than hell in the summer, everyone I know quit, and if I were to turn around (literally) and quit 5 minutes after orientation, I'd look like a major tool. So here's to an official good riddance to Menard's!!!

The weiner kid fest at South is in full swing, and there's a couple of testy kids in my trombone class that are going to need to shape up real fast. Luckily I see them only twice a week now, and hopefully the 7th and 8th graders will be a nice change.

Oh, and Sunday's my birthday.
